We got in!

Thanks to a special little man who woke up early, we got a head start on our trip up to Seattle. 

And as a result, we got into Comic-Con!

Ryan came prepared with his own camera.

If only I knew how to export his awesome pics.

They had a kids/family area where you could color your own comics, play, and buy balloons. 

Naturally, Ryan bought a robot balloon. 

We decided to get some pictures with Star Wars characters. 

Ryan was a little afraid of Chewbacca so he made sure he was at a good distance.

Eventually Chewbacca and Ryan warmed up to each other. 

The day wouldn't be complete without a family photo (above and below). 

Please note that Darth Vader's head tilt pose is straight out of Olen and Justine's awkward family photo book.
